Today on MTDCNC North America, Tony Gunn interviews Wade Anderson from Okuma America Corporation. In the video, Wade explains how Partners in THINC came about with the idea of competing companies working together for a better outcome. The goal was to have a facility to utilize the power of “THINC” control. The facility opened in 2007 and evolved from an interface-focused group to modern manufacturing. From software to chip cutting and workholding, the facility’s emphasis remains on everything that it takes to produce a part. Members have access to machines, application engineers, door fobs and equipment where they can come in to test and develop processes that help both the company and end user. Watch the video to find out how this partnership improves processes and decreases cycle times for customers.
