With the new HTC technology with narrow contour, MAPAL has achieved a revolution in the field of clamping technology. For the first time it is possible to use the advantages of a hydraulic clamping chuck in a wider spectrum of applications thanks to additive manufacturing.

On the one hand the new clamping chuck offers a slim contour with a 3 deg. taper along with the familiar high clamping forces, also expensive shrinking devices can be eliminated. And on the other, it offers the advantages of the MAPAL HTC technology where the, T” alongside the higher torque transfer refers to the high temperature resistance. The wide operating temperature range of up to 170°c assure for additional process reliability.

The new clamping chuck not only offers advantages for the mouldmaking industry but also significant ones in applications within the automobile and aerospace industries. It lends itself to machining in contour critical areas. Additionally simple and quick clamping of the tool is guaranteed.
